Embrace your flows

This is an illustration I made for the contest "Waves", created by three of my colleagues in academy (LABA, Florence). We had to develop an image of 1x3 m, around the word "waves". I changed the phrase “embrace your flaws”, using "flows" instead, to express the idea of accepting our creativeness even if most of the starting ideas seem bad or just not enough. We shouldn't repress them to avoid mistakes, instead let's accept them. This is why the flood coming out from the heart resembles pretty good how I perceive creativity, I think it's a continuous creation that shouldn't be stopped. The illustration got selected as one of the four finalists and got printed, it is now part of a permanent exhibition in the academy.
